Rev Megan
Rev. Megan Huesgen is Pastor at Immanuel UCC. She is a 2005 graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s of Divinity degree. Her undergraduate work was completed at Kutztown University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Megan grew up attending St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Fleetwood where she served on various committees, worked with the youth group and taught Sunday School.
Prior to her seminary studies, Megan served as a Global Mission Intern in Lesotho, Africa, with Global Ministries, which is the common witness of the United Church of Christ and the Disciples of Christ. Her primary responsibilities included establishing a library at the Morija L.E.C. primary school and working at the Morija L.E.C. Seminary. In the summer of 2005, Megan returned to Southern Africa with the Leadership NOW Program of Lancaster Theological Seminary, affording youth the opportunity to explore the theme of Hope and Reconciliation.
Megan is married to Matthew Huesgen who is a teacher in the Wilson School district. Megan and Matt have three children: Andrew, Alexandra, and Adam.

Rev Jayme
Rev. Jayme Babczak (Rev. JB) joined Immanuel as the designated term Associate Pastor for Spiritual Formation and Congregational Connection in October of 2022. She is a 2020 graduate of Union Presbyterian Seminary where she earned a dual degree – Master of Divinity and MA in Christian Education. Her undergraduate work was completed at Messiah College, graduating from the Honors Program with a BA in Psychology.
While in seminary, Jayme served as the Director of Children & Youth Ministries at Seventh Street Christian Church. She also spent time at Camp Hanover as a ministry intern, retreat keynoter, and small group facilitator. Afer seminary, Jayme was called to Yarmouth, Maine and served as Assoicate Pastor at First Parish Congregational Church for 20 months. She most recently served as keynoter/theme director for the 2022 June Massanetta Springs Middle School Conferences.
Jayme is passionate about interfaith, ecumenical, and multi-generational ministry & care. In addition to her ministry with Immanuel, Jayme serves remotely as the Director of Digital Communications for Seventh Street Christian Church and regularly leads worship at The Highlands of Wyomissing. She is “dog mom” to a rescue pup named Darby and memorizes Broadway showtunes for fun!
