
OUR CLASSES
THE CHRISTIAN NATURE OF OUR PROGRAM: There are opportunities to hear about God and Jesus through Bible stories & songs. Prayers are learned and recited at snack time. The students learn about holidays of the church year such as Christmas and Easter, and the seasons from the perspective of their religious significance. Children are also involved in special mission projects to nurture positive attitudes toward helping others.

Toddler Time
A creative caregiver/child experience for almost 2 – 3-year-olds on Wednesday morning from 9:15-10:15 or 10:30-11:30 a.m. Each class size is 10 students.

3-Year-Old Class
This class is intended to help the child feel secure and to enjoy what may be their first experience away from the family. Child must be 3 by September 1 and potty-trained to attend this Tuesday/Thursday class: 9-11:30 a.m. Class size is 12 students. An Early Drop Off Option/Class is available daily at 8:05am.

4-Year-Old Class
The focus is to help the child feel happy and secure as they establish an independent experience away from the family. Child must be 4 by September 1 to attend this Monday/Wednesday/Friday Class: 9-11:30 a.m. Class size is 16 students. An Early Drop Off Option/Class is available daily at 8:05am.

4 & 5-Year-Old Class – 5 Mornings
Developed to make the transition from preschool to all day Kindergarten easier for children. Child must be 4 by September 1 to attend this Monday-Friday class: 9-11:30am. Class size is 16 students. An Early Drop Off Option/Class is available daily at 8:05am.

Stay and Play
A program for three, four, and five-year-olds. Children bring a packed lunch & enjoy active playtime. Available Monday- Friday: 11:30am-3pm. Class size is 16 students.
Choose one or both:
- M/W/F “Imagination Adventure” – themes on children’s authors, countries, and artists
- T/TH “The Nature Adventure” – children will investigate the world by planting an indoor garden, growing crystals, and performing science experiments

Special Programs
Immanuel offers “extra” enrichment programs (additional fees apply) such as:
- Kindermusik: music and movement class for newborns through 7-year-olds
- Mighty Kicks Soccer: builds motor & life skills and basic soccer techniques for preschoolers through elementary age children.
- Summer Programs: one-week sessions in July/August with outdoor themes e.g. insects, safety, birds, and water
A DAY IN PRESCHOOL WILL INCLUDE:
FREE PLAY: Possible areas of interest are: dramatic play, block building, art activities, interest centers, play with sand and water, puzzles and dress ups
GROUP ACTIVITIES: Show and Tell, Music, Movement, Games, Stories, Finger plays, Kindergarten Readiness Activities, & Science Experiments
SNACK TIME: Children may actively participate. This time provides an opportunity for the teaching of several meal graces. Snack is provided by the preschool except for special programs/parties.
MUSCLE ACTIVITIES: Indoor and Outdoor climbing gym, balance beams, mini trampoline, riding toys, balance boards, hoops, bean bags, parachute or games, and playing on Noah’s Ark
LENDING LIBRARY: The children are encouraged to borrow a book each day that school is in session. We ask that you return a book before taking another one. More information concerning the weekly schedule will be provided through a monthly newsletter and calendar.
OPEN HOUSE/REGISTRATION
The last Wednesday in February is our open house. Families can visit classrooms and learn more about our programs. Registration for the next school year is taken. School Tours may be scheduled anytime during the year by appointment.
