Community of Peace Spirituality Retreat

Immanuel UCC invites you to participate in the Community of Peace Spirituality Retreat, led by Br. Stefan Andre Waligur – founder of Community of Peace in Louisa, VA. Through song, silence, spiritual reflection and table fellowship, you will deepen your connection to the Divine and to those around you.
Saturday, November 18
9am to 11:30 am – Workshop 1
12pm to 1pm – Fellowship Lunch
1:30pm to 4pm – Workshop 2
Workshops will involve listening, learning, singing and reflecting alongside Br. Stefan and other workshop participants.

Individual Participant – $25 Suggested Donation
Congregation (Unlimited number of participants) – $200* *Includes both workshops and lunch for all participants

About Br. Stefan Andre Waligur, Retreat Leader
Br. Stefan is known as Macushla, an Irish term of endearment meaning “heartbeat of the beloved.” An oblate member of the Benedictine Community of Shantivanam in India, Br. Stefan is a contemplative, a musician/composer and founder of Community of Peace, an ecumenical community inspired by the Taize Community in France.
